Modular lifting gear for drystone walls
Development of a hoist for the construction of dry stone walls. The hoist can be used wherever the construction sites are not accessible for machines or where the damage to the existing environment should be kept as low as possible. The parts of the hoist can be carried by people in terms of weight. They can be fitted together in various configurations to make a shears, tripod, cable crane or derrick. The metal parts form the "nodes" and attachment points of the hoist. The masts and outriggers are formed by round or square timbers. These are attached to the metal parts with ratchet straps.
The hoist can be used to move loads of up to one tonne and to manouvre them precisely.
